My Beloved Angee,

Your welcome packet of letters came in this morning at Dundalk quite a heavy mail again – they were quite a cheer and I will answer Harry's & Margie's as soon as I get a quiet moment. Very sorry to hear that your eye has been painful again and hope it may soon get better. Have come down here at Midday and intend returning to roost to Dundalk again this evening. Still encouraged in the business thro' mercy. This is only a hasty line which goes thro' Dublin and will reach you tomorrow morning trust it may find you all well "as it leaves me at present".

It was strange that Harry should meet Mr Saxton at Newbury – all very thankful Harry is where he is.

Kindest love & kisses all round and with much love believe me my dearest Angee.

Being very affectionate Husband

Return address: Stoker's Hotel, Longford, Ireland
