My Beloved Angee,

I fear that my letters will not now be delivered so regularly as during the last few weeks – came on here by early train – this is a lovely spot – and should much like to rest a few weeks here but move on again this evening. There were two first class stores here and through the help of the Lord have taken nice orders from each of them which is encouraging. My next stopping place will be Los Angeles -  a long ride again – very near our old friend Pikes Peak in this place but am not in the mind to ascend the mountain. This is only an apology for a letter but it will have my autograph – much love once more and believe me my dearest Angee.

Your very affectionate Husband
