My Beloved Angee,

I have been much disappointed not to have received a line from you either at Suez, Port Said or here and fear there has been some mistake about the directions. However I am near home once more and am very thankful to say and shall look out for you and Arundel at Plymouth on the 14th and should we get fair weather we may reach on Tuesday the 13th. Through mercy I have gained strength again wonderfully since getting into the colder weather – I do trust that you are keeping well and all our dear children – it is a joy to my heart indeed to think that in the tender grace and goodness of our Father and God I shall soon see all your dear faces again – I suppose you will stay at the Albion Hotel Plymouth as before.

With much love once more to you my dearly beloved Angee and all our dear ones believe me.

Being very affectionate Husband
