My Beloved Angee,
I am just leaving here and thought I would drop you one note more from this city before doing so – have had a very comfortable time altogether and in spite of very wet dull weather had much encouragement in every way. This morning is fine and I hope you will take advantage of the fine days you get in and out to exercise your little slender racing stumps a bit.
It was quite a job packing up last night but all is snug and tight once more as they say on board ship. Today D.V. I go to Carrickfergus and Larne and may get to Ballymena tonight if trains fit. I always travel second class and do not intend to patronize 3rd in this country – well God has been very good and gracious to me and my heart is filled with thankfulness – may He comfort you and bless you and all of us – much love and to all our loved ones at home and believe me my beloved Angee.
Being very affectionate Husband
